You will ensure that projects are running smoothly and that volunteers are contributing to the betterment of underprivileged communities. You will communicate with the staff at our projects, address their concerns, and collaborate with them to find solutions to issues. This position is dynamic and continually changing, so there is always a lot to learn! One day, you might go and teach an English class to a classroom full of eager young minds, and the next day you might help serve lunch for over 150 homeless men, all the while guiding international volunteers. Other responsibilities include running a construction and renovation project within budget constraints, implementing new extracurricular educational programs at a local orphanage, evaluating current volunteering programs and researching new volunteering opportunities. You will also help with the every-day running of the volunteer apartment, organizing volunteer accommodation and transportation, and ensuring that all volunteers’ needs are met.
