Program Description:

Participants are very self guided in exactly how they will help the children in the Orphanage.Many volunteers choose to teach English in a local school as well.

This small orphanage located in a rural area in the Kathmandu Valley offers a tremendously warm welcome to international volunteers. You will help with homework, organize activities, converse in English... you set the agenda.

Participants will contribute greatly to the educational development of the children and leave lifelong impressions.

Setting Description:

Bhoktapur, a small town, is on the opposite side of the valley from Kathmandu.
