Program Overview

Program Description:
We offer four hours of one-on-one instruction five days per week. In each private lesson, our highly qualified and experienced teachers assess the abilities, needs, and interests of each student and tailor classes accordingly. For those with little to no experience with the Spanish language, courses are designed to expand vocabulary, increase ease of verb conjugation, and introduce students to common expressions so as to strengthen verbal and written communication skills in real-world settings. For individuals with intermediate or advanced Spanish skills, more in-depth grammar and vocabulary lessons are offered, with a focus on longer, more complex conversations and writing.

We also offer the option of specialized classes focusing on the vocabulary, expressions and cultural practices within specific professions such as medical professionals, social workers, and teachers.

Setting Description:
Our school is located in Quetzaltenango (Xela), which are in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. The scenery around the school is very attractive with views of mountains and volcanoes. Xela is situated approximately four houses from the capital city and is the second city of Guatemala. The city and the local area has a great deal to offer all interests.
