This course, the only one of its kind in the UK, meets a demand for suitably qualified construction professionals by developing the diverse range of skills of those that are already in, or would like to enter the timber industry. You'll become a competent and resourceful timber engineer, equipped with the relevant training in analysis, design and assessment of timber structural systems. This both satisfies the needs of the timber industry and meets the academic requirements appropriate for chartered membership of the Institute of Civil Engineers and Institution of Structural Engineers. This means you will not only graduate with a postgraduate degree but a highly respected professional qualification.
