Based over one year, the course will involve lectures, tutorials and independent study. Trimester 1 Sources of Competitive Advantage, Global Economic Environment, plus one core module from Leadership, Learning & Development*, and Principles & Practice of Marketing. Trimester 2 Innovation to Sustainability, Behaviour & Management in Organisations, plus one core module from New Venture Planning*, Human Resource Management in International Context, Intercultural Business Communication, Market Analysis and Forecasting or Global Marketing . Research methods will also be taught across trimesters 1 and 2, in preparation for your dissertation. Trimester 3 Dissertation *One of these modules must be chosen as a core module. The course is supported by: an online working environment, giving you instant access to lecture notes, coursework, exams and reading lists 24 hour access to the 500-seat Jack Kilby computer centre, where you will have use of relevant software packages, plus unrestricted email and web access access to our fully-networked library, offering an extensive collection of materials and required course texts specialist staff who are on hand to offer support in learning, language development or personal issues our Library Information Service, which can provide a number of useful aids that will help develop study skills a personal development tutor. This course is based at Craiglockhart Campus, located in a leafy hillside setting just west of vibrant Morningside.
