This course is based at Craiglockhart Campus, located in a leafy hillside setting just west of vibrant Morningside. It offers advanced resources for business, law and language-based studies, including two large lecture theatres, cyber café, language labs and computing facilities, in an environment that combines beautiful listed buildings and cutting-edge contemporary design. What's involved? Based over three trimesters, the course will involve lectures, tutorials and independent study. Duration is 12 months if you commence in September, 18 months for January starts. Below is an indication of the subjects you will most likely study. Trimesters 1 and 2 Compulsory modules: Creating Competitive Advantage, Organisational Behaviour and Management, Business Economics in a Global Environment, Creativity to Sustainability, Contemporary Issues in Strategic Management, Skills for Managers, Finance for Management Decision-Making. Core option modules: Choose one module from a range of specialist areas, such as HRM, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Leadership, International Business, and Operations Management.
