Program Description:

We are a Language School for adults (18+) in Durban, South Africa, with a focus on Specialised English courses and Language Teacher Training.

Durban Language Centre offers a range of language courses, including general English, academic English, business English, aviation English etc. These are available to adult learners (16+) from beginner to advanced levels. We have maintained our carriculum from 2009 until May, 2010.

Setting Description:

Durban Language Centre is situated in Musgrave on the Berea, a suburb overlooking the harbour of Durban. The suburb is upmarket, with easy access to a huge variety of foods, easy access to bus routes, and taxis and a range of accommodation, from backpackers lodges to boutique hotels within walking distance. The city is sub-tropical, which means a moderate climate year-round, and beautiful beaches ten minutes from the Durban Language Centre. We are also only a short drive to the majestic Drakensburg (Dragon's Mountains) which are a world Heritage site. In fact, Durban enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year.
