The Belfast and Dublin program will be conducted at Queen’s University in Belfast and Trinity College, Dublin. Enrollment is open to American and foreign law or graduate students in good standing, but not limited to MBA students. The cost includes excursions to Stormont, the Ecclesiastical Capital City Armagh, the Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, and parliament and local courts.
This three-week program, taught by Irish faculty, includes European Union Law, International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, and International Human Rights Law, totaling 4.5 ABA-approved credit hours. Classes meet 9:00 to 1:30 Tuesdays through Fridays, and Mondays from 12:30 to 5:30 to maximize the free time of the students’ weekends. Optional Externships (1.5 Credit Value) are available in Germany.
Housing is in private en-suite rooms in Belfast (including breakfast) and shared apartments in Dublin, with two twin beds and a private bathroom, and no breakfast.
- Setting Description:
- Housing is available in both locations through Duquesne University. In Belfast, we stay at the Holiday Inn Express Queen's Quarter in double-occupancy rooms, including full, hot breakfast. In Dublin we stay at Trinity College Dublin, in two-person shared apartments that includes a private bathroom. There is a general shared kitchen/living area, free internet and library. Spouses and children are welcome.
- The program cost is $4,200. The cost includes a $250 application fee, Tuition, Housing & Breakfast. Fees cover teaching materials, tuition, housing, and various dinners and receptions.
