Program Description:

A one-year full-time Masters programme featuring a common core curriculum with two distinct streams: Computational Systems Biology (MCSB) Bioinformatics for Life Sciences (MBIO). Aims and Objectives: To produce graduates with the inter-disciplinary skills required to succeed in the expanding bioinformatics and biotechnology sectors, at both home and abroad. By working closely with industry, we ensure that the course is as up-to-date and as relevant as possible. To combine and draw on the theoretical and practical aspects across both streams, thus encouraging students to develop essential skills in inter-disciplinary team working, learning and communication. These are as vital to career success as the dedicated stream each student chooses.
