- The programme draws on the expertise and experience of the School of Communications' academic staff in communication theory, media studies and journalism education as they relate to international developments. This reflects the growing involvement of the school in international projects and programmes, and the increasing interest in international and comparative studies among communication scholars generally. Students come from a variety of backgrounds and this stimulates interaction, encouraging the different groups to reflect more fully on the contribution that the others make to this field.
