- The M.S. Programs are offered in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Taxation and Decision Sciences (which includes a choice of focus in MIS, Management Science, or Operations Management). The distinction between these curricula and the MBA is that the M.S. provides a greater degree of focus on a given field. This focus may be an appropriate option for some students with specific career goals. Furthermore, those who intend to pursue a Ph.D. in business often prefer the concentrated M.S. degree to the more general MBA. The M.S. degree requires the same number of credits as the MBA, and it includes the same foundation courses. The advanced course work generally consists of a common core, specialization courses, and related electives.
