The Dowling College Master of Science / Reading Teacher degree program fulfills the need for personnel at the elementary and secondary levels of education who are well-versed in both theoretical and pragmatic concepts related to literacy acquisition. The underlying philosophy of the M.S. Reading Teacher Program is that reading, listening,writing, and speaking are basic, interrelated processes.
