- Setting Description:
- Academic training provided by international experts. Access to unique technologies such as the free-electron laser FLASH and FLASH II, and the superlative X-ray laser source XFEL. PhD within three years with regular feedback from your scientific advisory team. Acquisition of key competences for your career in science, business or industry. Leisure activities and language courses. Language of instruction: English Requirements: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, medicine or related fields.
- The tuition fees at Universität Hamburg are fully covered by the German government, only an administrative fee of € 290 will have to be paid per semester (6 months). This fee includes a public transport ticket for Hamburg. The salary for research assistants is approximately 1800 € (pre-tax, this corresponds to 50% TVL 13, the collective wage agreement).
