Program Description:

This programme is aimed at non-law graduates wishing to qualify as a solicitor or barrister, and those who wish to hold a Diploma in Law. On successful completion of the programme, a student is qualified to proceed to the final stage of training for solicitors or barristers. The normal requirement for entry onto the programme is a degree from a British university in a subject other than law. The programme combines home study with eight face-to-face tuition sessions over the two years. The content of the programme reflects the University's full-time course, and provides students with a knowledge and understanding of the English Legal Process and of the seven foundations of legal knowledge.
