Program Description:

D&M offers professional formation for interpreters and choreographers in a 2 year course. The first year (performer I) is common to both courses, allowing to choose for the second year to continue with Performer II or the specialization for Choreographer.Aspiring students must audition to be accepted into the course. When evaluating their execution, characteristics like rhythm, technique, interpretation and growth potential will be evaluated. Students are given the possibility of taking a 1 or 2 month leveling course in order to prepare for the audition. This is not mandatory.

We developed a complete education focused on urban techniques. Our curriculum provides a profound study of the different urban disciplines ( hip hop, locking & popping, breakdance, krump, street jazz), as well as other areas necessary to become a complete artist, such as contemporary technique, improvisation and staging. A unique academic proposal in our country, renowned for uniting the best dancers and educators of urban styles and icons of other languages.

Student will obtain a 80% discount for any other activity that takes place at the studio (regular classes, workshops, additional courses). Discounts for the bar. Personalized assistance in spanish, english, french and portuguese. Free of charge use of the lockers.

Setting Description:

The location, a three story building, is specially though for the development of these activities. There are five fully-equipped studios with specialized sound systems and high quality floors, complete changind rooms with showers and lockers, and a bar on the ground floor. As well as the annual courses, we offer daily classes and workshops for every level from begginers to intensive perfecting classes for profesisonals: hip hop, breakdance, locking, popping, house, street jazz, tap, jazz, krump, new style waacking and more.
