Program Description:

We, at the Coronation College of Hospitality - Toronto, specialize exclusively in education, trainings & certifications which prepare our students for jobs in the industry and upgrade skills & knowledge of individuals engaged in the hospitality trade. The Hotel and Restaurant Operations Diploma is a comprehensive and practical program that provides the student with knowledge, skills and aptitude to successfully enter the hospitality job market in a wide variety of positions. The program combines world recognized theoretical material with real world hands-on practical experience.

The diploma program consists of 6 theory courses and an 8 weeks of internship. Each theoretical course is 100 hours, practical is 200 hours. The courses are: 1. Hospitality Today 2. Managing Service in F&B Operations 3. Managing Beverage Operations 4. Managing Front Office Operations 5. Supervision in Hospitality Industry 6. Hospitality Accounting Basics 7. Practical Internship The student also receive 6 Educational Institute certificates as part of our program. These certificates are one of the best-known and best-accepted qualifications throughout the world. Practical Component: The practical component puts the student in the actual workplace where they learn from experience and see how the theory is applied. This component is of greatest interest to employers who put a high value on experience. Students can use this experience to also chart out their future career paths. This great learning experience also becomes an extended on-the-job interview situation. Students can use their training and education to present themselves as strong candidates for any potential opening with the employer, at the time.

Setting Description:

We are located on the second floor of the prestigious "Best Western Hotel & Suites"; a beautiful niche hotel that serves as an excellent venue for our college campus. Our college is approx. 5 to 7 minutes walk from the Young & Eglinton subway station. The subway station, bus connections and roads network all make our college campus conveniently accessible from all parts of Toronto & the Greater Toronto areas.
