Volunteer with Connect-123 in one of Europe’s major cultural centers, Barcelona! We work with local NGOs to find you a meaningful volunteer project based on your unique skills and interests. Work as a volunteer in a variety of areas, such as education, conservation, health care, microfinance, human rights and community development and more! Improve your Spanish and experience this vibrant culture, all while giving back to the community!
Connect-123 is a one-stop shop for whatever you need, whenever you need it, before, during, and after your stay in Barcelona. We know Spain is far from home. We take care of the details so that you can work hard, play even harder, and only worry about learning and having fun.
- Setting Description:
- Immerse yourself in Spanish and Catalan culture and live in one of the most exciting cities in the world! Barcelona has always been the stronghold of Catalan separatism within Spain and Catalans are known for being extremely proud of their regional identity, culture and language. Barcelona is a versatile, global city and has developed into a major art and cultural center. Downtown, art and culture lovers have the opportunity to see the works of Picasso and Miró, visit the architectural works of the "modernist masters", the highlight of which is Gaudi’s impressive Sagrada Familia church, as well as wander through the Barrio Gótico, full of history within its old walls, beautiful monuments, and winding pedestrian streets. With so much to do and see in Barcelona and Spain, we're always happy to provide advice on how to plan your adventure.
