Program Description:

The McNair Scholars Program encourages income eligible and first generation college students, and students from groups historically underrepresented in graduate school to expand their educational opportunities and to pursue graduate studies.

Students who are low-income and first-generation (neither parent has a bachelor's degree) or who are members of a group underrepresented in a graduate study and who have attained undergraduate junior level academic status (sophomores may be considered) are eligible to apply for the McNair Scholars Program.
