Program Description:

Clarion University and Edinboro University jointly offer a Master of Science in Nursing with two concentrations. The Family Nurse Practitioner concentration is a forty-five credit degree program that builds on the knowledge and skills that individuals obtain in baccalaureate nursing programs and provides opportunities to apply advanced nursing knowledge and related theories to practice settings. The Nurse Educator concentration is thirty-six credit hours and prepares nurse educators to teach in undergraduate nursing programs as well as fill clinical education and staff development positions in hospitals and other health care institutions. These students learn to design, implement, and evaluate instruction.
