My time in Japan was incredible! I learned so much, met so many new people, and had one of the most enriching experiences of my life. As someone who didn't know a word of Japanese before going to Japan, I left being able to have a decent conversation.
I left with friends IN JAPAN! I left knowing a little more about myself and wanting to share my experience with others. At Seisen University in Tokyo, I took two classes - Beginner Japanese language and Global Citizenship Cross Cultural Studies. I learned not only the language of Japan, but about Japan itself - the culture, the people, the atmosphere. I was able to spend time with students from the U.S., Japan, China, Australia, and Taiwan. I travelled all around the country and walked over 150 miles, seeing temples, shrines, monuments, mountains, and lakes. I can only hope to return to Japan someday and learn and grow even more.read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
