This course covers the informal and formal means of identification of gifted and talented children, the creativelygifted child, mainstream policies and provisions, how to integrate acceleration into the curriculum, and how toprogram for individual gifted children. The graduate of this course should feel confident with gifted children inthe school and classroom, and be able to provide advice to other teachers in the school.
