- The M.A. in Teaching is designed for individuals who wish to begin their teaching careers with both a teaching credential and a master's degree. The MAT program includes 12 additional credits beyond the core credential coursework, emphasizing linguistic and culturally responsive pedagogy. Students can complete the program on a part-time or full-time basis, with most students finishing over a period of 4-5 semesters. Students may choose between a Single Subject or Multiple Subject Credential. An emphasis in Music Education is also available.
