Program Description:

The Centro Machiavelli Italian Language School, offers Italian courses in Florence in small groups, individuals or combined. Depending on the level of proficiency, measured by a test, the student is assigned to the corresponding level, from level 1 for beginners to 9th in specialization. The school is on the first floor of an old building in Piazza Santo Spirito, has 5 classrooms used for teaching, an audiovisual center, and wifi internet connection for free.

Centro Machiavelli was founded in 1978. Since 1988 it has been part of Tandem International, an international network of languages schools. In 2003 it obtained Official recognition of the Ministry of Education, University and Scientific Research. In 2005 it obtained Quality Certification in accordance with ISO standards. At the same time it becomes accredited with SCN Sweden and for Bildungsurlaub for the regions of Hamburg and Berlin. The centre furthermore is under the aegis of the Town of Florence for the participation in linguistic projects aimed at citizens outside the European Union.

The teachers of the Italian language school Centro Machiavelli have many years experience and alternate class groups and levels. They regularly attend training courses and refresher courses on teaching methods, materials and related technologies, and therefore offer foreign students, dynamic and entertaining Italian lessons.
