All classes are taught in Spanish by University faculty in their areas of expertise. All CEHS classes are offered for-credit, and follow a U.S. curriculum and grading system.
In our Spring semester program, students can choose among Spanish language, literature, culture, political science, history, art, photography, business and communications classes. All classes are offered for credit. Unlike Fall semester, in this spring semester program there are a variety of classes offered in English. Most of our students participate in for-credit internships, and a student may also enroll in one class at the University of Valladolid, Segovia campus, a CEHS partner institution.CEHS programs are complete, and of the highest quality. - Setting Description:
- Segovia, UNESCO designated World Heritage of Humanity city, is a beautiful, ancient city in the heart of Spain, and thanks to its rich history, breathtaking architecture, and undeniable charm, it is an ideal location for study abroad. As you roam the streets of Segovia, you move through Spanish history: the visible remnants of the past and Spain's diversity abound--the Roman Aqueduct, the fairy-tale like 12th-century Castle (El Alcázar), Spain's last Gothic Cathedral which presides over the Main Square, Mudéjar art (Islamic artistic influence under Christian rule), the Medieval Jewish Quarter, and much more. But Segovia, a city of 53,000, also has a lively cultural calendar, active nightlife, cinema, museums, shops, restaurants, and tranquil green areas...
- Cost:
