Through hands-on experiences, labs and interactive lectures with veterinarians and specialists, you will get real life exposure to veterinary practices in a developing country. Students also do community service by volunteering to help with free animal health clinics in local villages. Studying abroad helps you opne your heart and mind to become a global citizen.

Class time is spent in fieldwork developing large animal vet skills in general husbandry (shelter, nutrition, and waste management) and knowledge of large farm animals. Basic veterinary care will be taught and more advanced veterinary practices such as preventive medicine, reproductive management, medicine and surgery will be addressed. The course work will provide unique experiences and problem-solving skills which will assist you in developing careers related to animal health, particularly if your goal is to be a veterinarian.
