Program Description:

Our location in Rome will give you the opportunity to see the world and Rome from a different perspective. We have a variety of programs offered at this location, including Ethics & Sustainability, Business & Communication, Theology & Religious Studies, Politics, Economics & Business, and more. These programs also coincide with plenty of electives to choose from, such as sustainability and philosophy.

The CEA Rome Study Center provides you a personalized experience in smaller classes with other CEA students. Also, on the campus of any of our other partner universities, you can also get the chance to study alongside Italian students.

Our partner Universities include:

  • CEA/Providence College Center for Theology and Religious Studies

  • John Cabot University

  • Libera Universita Internazionale Degli Studi Scoiali

When you aren’t busy studying, enjoy excursions and cultural activities CEA will provide. Visit Venice, a city built on the water, where you can ride the gondola through the Venice Canals. Or do a pizza and gelato crawl, where you can sample all different types of pizza while walking through historic Rome. There are so many opportunities to learn outside of the classroom, and all you have to do is take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Highlights:

Hands-on learning experiences that transform the world abroad into a classroom

Personalized Pre-Departure Advising (including visa and immigration support)

Courses offered in English that fulfill major and general graduation requirements

Comprehensive on-site support, including 24/7 emergency phone

Career workshops, Internships Abroad, and Alumni Ambassador positions

Setting Description:
Known as the Eternal City, Rome is surrounded by ancient history and iconic structures, such as the Colosseum. Its tall buildings frame its narrow streets, and the architecture of the city embodies what the city was like during the Renaissance. Rome is covered in rich Italian culture, with cafes and pizzerias around every corner, giving you a chance to get lost in the Eternal City and in the romance of Rome.
