Program Description:

When almost 2 million talented and creative students graduate and entering the job market along with you, how will you rise above your competition and get the job you want?  CEA’s internships in Florence let you gain the experience and skills employers seek when hiring new graduates.  From fashion houses to design companies to major wine labels, Florence hosts world-renowned brands, small and family businesses, and traditional artisan workshops.  Choose from a 16-week semester or 8-week summer program; both feature a 160-hour credit-bearing placement combined with an integrated academic seminar designed to support you over the course of your pre-professional experience in Florence.  Tailored placements help you to meet your academic and professional goals. 

From start to finish, you’ll receive personalized assistance from admissions counselors and site specialists who are available to answer all of your questions. In fact, we give you the tools you need to plan a life-changing professional and cross-cultural experience, from greeting you at the airport to a comprehensive orientation. On-site staff is there to help you at each step along the way. Program price includes: housing, cultural activities, transcripts, and more.

Setting Description:
In Florence, the past and present come together to create a tantalizing, dynamic atmosphere in an international city with a small-town feel. Live like a local in one of two CEA housing options – apartments or homestays – depending on your comfort zone, budget, or level of independence. As a CEA student in Florence, you can meet representatives of a local anti-mafia organization, learn about the fashion trade from a national buyer, and discuss Florence’s role in the global marketplace with local business owners.

Requirements:
All language levels are welcome. Students must have completed at least one academic year of studies with a 2.75 GPA prior to applying.
