Program Overview
- Program Description:
We designed our internship abroad program with personalization and career competencies in mind. Our placement process involves getting to know you and your goals well enough to find the right internship and host organization for you. In addition to finding you the right placement, our internship team also coaches you on how to compose a strong résumé and cover letter and how to give a great interview.
CEA offers both models of our internship program in Barcelona: internship only and study + internship. Both models are available during the summer sessions, and study + internship also has a semester option. Students in our study + internship model choose elective courses to supplement their internship placement, attending class at our Barcelona Study Center with other CEA students. Both models of our internship program are rooted in a solid academic foundation, thanks to the required Multicultural Workplace seminar course.
Barcelona industries available for internship placements include accounting & finance, visual & digital arts, museum studies, anthropology, business management, communication & journalism, education, international relations, health and social services, marketing, tourism & hospitality, broadcasting, architecture, and more.
