According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, pharmaceutical technician job openings are expected to grow by 32 percent between 2010 and 2020. After completing your Pharmaceutical Technician diploma, you’ll have the knowledge and skills needed to excel in in this high-demand field.
At CCNN, you’ll learn the primary functions of a successful pharmaceutical technician, which include:
Measuring, counting and calculating medication dosages
Receiving and generating labels of prescription medications
Processing refill requests
Verifying patient information is complete and accurate
Compounding hospital medications, topical medications and veterinarian medications
