Program Overview

Program Description:

At Cambridge Languages we are 100% dedicated to teach languages. We teach Spanish 2 or 4 hours a day plus tours to any place in Costa Rica. You will be placed with a host family where you will practice your Spanish. We are located in the colonial City of Heredia 30 minutes from San Jose.

We provide Spanish programs on a rolling basis. You may start any Monday of the year. We offer intensive courses (4 hours a day) Monday to Friday, or 2 hours a day any day(s) of the week Monday to Friday. We offer 3 levels of efficiency (beginners, intermediate and advanced). If you already have a background in Spanish, you may take a placement test. Lessons are comprised of grammar, conversation, writing and reading skills, vocabulary, phonetics aided by audio-visual materials

Whatever your purposes are, we will always have a program for you. You start speaking Spanish from the first lesson. B the time you complete your intended level of study, you will have improved your Spanish significantly, which combined with a host family stay, it results in an invaluable experience. Host families are carefully screened to ensure that they meet the desired requirements to host an American student.

Heredia is a community of about 105,000 inhabitants, and it was founded in 1763. Searching along this colonial city you can find a unique blend of tranquility and activity, history and modernity, from the peaceful parks of the city to its urban amenities, there is always something for everyone to discover. When you want to get away, there are also many opportinities for weekend tours. You can visit any place you like and well arrange for your tours, all you to do is mention the place you want to visit and we will do the rest for you.
