Program Description:

This program is a broad-based agricultural technology curriculum which allows the students to specialize in bioresources, animal, crop, horticulture, irrigation, plant protection or soil sciences. The Agricultural Engineering Department houses the Irrigation Training and ResearchCenter (ITRC) with extensive indoor and outdoor facilities, plus the Agricultural Safety Institute. This program also meets an expressed need for greater expertise among California high school and community college teachers responsible for agricultural mechanics instruction. Graduates of this program are also in demand in the equipment design, construction, and sales and service industries.
