Program Description:
Antigua and Barbuda are the sites of this fascinating program that combines core classroom lectures with local excursions to study Caribbean and specifically Barbudan culture. Antigua and Barbuda is perfect for students majoring in Art, Media, Film, Political Science, Anthropology, History, and Museum Studies. Students will explore the culture, traditions, and history of Antigua and Barbuda and will have the opportunity to meet and interact with dignitaries and political officials.

Explore the culture, traditions and history of Antigua and Barbuda through an immersive, interdisciplinary, hands-on experience. Visit museums, nature reserves, artist colonies and religious centers. Participants will observe and join together with several international researchers as they do prehistoric and historic archaeological digs. This program is an intensely fun learning experience about a Caribbean community in transition. Live in a shared rooms in houses in Barbuda!
