Looking for the perfect mix of spectacular diving, whitewater adventure, friendly people and Latin American culture? On this popular hands-on journey, travel through Panama's beautiful countryside, tropical jungles and mountainous islands for the experience of a lifetime! The treasures of this amazing country are ours to discover. Wake up to the rich smells of a blooming tropical jungle and the exciting sounds of class IV river rapids. Explore lush rainforests as you zip line through the canopy with local naturalists. Scuba dive in Coiba and Bastimentos National Park's magnificent reefs, walls and pinnacles where scientists come together to study whale sharks, dolphins, reef conservation and marine ecology. Throughout our adventures, experience the rich and diverse Panamanian culture from the ancient Maya to coastal people.

Setting Description:
We begin our adventure in culturally-rich Panama City, where a quick flight takes us to Bastimentos, where pristine beaches and unparalleled dive sites await. Earn your PADI Open Water scuba certification in crystal blue waters abundant with marine life. That's just the beginning! Embark on a hike that undoubtedly leads you to see monkeys. Learn the basics of surfing on rolling waves accompanied by deserted beaches. Choose your perfect wave and ride it all the way in. Meet the indigenous Ngobe community and play a game of pick-up soccer with the local children. Then, it's off to the Boquete Valley for some Class III rapids on the Chiriqui and hiking through a cloud forest. Wrap up the program on the island paradise of Isla de Canales where we talk full advantage of the top dive sites, spectacular waterfalls and breathtaking views while conducting coral reef research for the Smithsonian.
