- Setting Description:
- What makes the diving here so phenomenal? Untouched and only recently discovered by divers, the Windwards' thriving reefs are loaded with marine life, big and small. Learn about the amazing underwater world with your marine biology program leader, and then dive below to see what you can find. Marvel at the huge schools of horse-eye jacks and copper sweepers or take a roller coaster ride through coral gardens loaded with massive barrel sponges and twisted gorgonians. Rarely seen in other parts of the Caribbean, seahorses and frogfish are plentiful and flying gurnards can be seen on almost every dive. The nutrient rich waters of the Atlantic and deep ocean ridges merge nearby, creating the ideal environment for encountering eagle rays, big turtles, sharks, tuna and dolphin.

- Once in a Lifetime Experience11/21/15
There are so many ways to describe Broadreach's Grenadines Advanced Scuba trip, but I believe the best way is just to call it a once in a lifetime experience and life changing. I'm not gonna lie, it was not all easy going 'vacation time' because you were
considered an equal member/crew of the boat that you lived on and were expected to help out whether it be making meals or the nightly clean up. This hard work, however, is what brought you that much closer with all of your shipmates. There were amazing dives almost every day, and getting to go ashore and experience the culture of each town was eye opening. Whether it be hiking a volcano, jumping from waterfalls, having fun with the locals, or the main part of the trip, diving multiple times a day and earning your rescue certification, this trip had it all. But what I found was the best part of this trip was not the knowledge I learned about diving (even though I really enjoyed that part too), but it was the way my eyes were opened to the different cultures in the Caribbean and how much I found out about myself. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who has a passion for diving, adventure, and learning about the different cultures in the Caribbean. Oh and definitely try to get your hands on some skinips, or little green balls as my boat liked to call them, they are basically little green fruit balls that taste awesome, I highly recommend them.read moreBottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
