Program Description:

The Barcelona School for International Studies (SIS) Summer Program offers you the chance to get up close and personal with Barcelona while taking courses in English that can count towards your major, minor, or general education requirements. With core studies in business and the humanities on an international campus, cultural immersion plays a large role in this program.

You’ll enjoy a perfect blend of top-notch academics and experiential learning that include intriguing courses, guest speakers, local tours and a variety of cultural activities and excursions. Most electives are taught in English, but students are highly encouraged to enroll in our Intensive Spanish Language Courses to truly get the most out of the Barcelona experience.

You have the option of enrolling in the SIS Summer Program for four weeks during June, four weeks during July, or both! Students enrolling in both sessions will receive a $750.00 discount.

Setting Description:

The Barcelona School for International Studies (SIS) offers international students the incredible opportunity to vastly improve their Spanish language skills while earning college credit with courses in English, specifically designed for them. SIS is located in the heart of Barcelona, a five minute walk to the thriving and modern commercial center called Plaça Catalunya and a seven minute walk to the quaint and historic El Born neighborhood. This location is accessible via many different metro and bus lines making the commute hassle free from any neighborhood.
