Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Kuala Lumpur is ranked as the second-best university in Malaysia (Times Higher Education 2016) and acknowledged among the top 400 universities in the world (QS World Ranking, place 159). UPM is a public university that was founded in 1931 and has now 16 faculties and approximately 32 000 students.
