Program Description:
Artists on the Move is open to all levels of experience and are customized to fit individual needs and abilities. Workshop hours are from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. daily and students may choose to paint in oil, acrylic or watercolor during the art course. Printmaking is also offered and employed as an expansion on the painting and drawing process. In order to enhance the artistic journey, visits are scheduled to museums, cultural and artistic events throughout the week. Paros is an artist's island boasting wonderful museums and galleries that feature both archaic treasures and contemporary local artists.

Artists on the Move offers a unique experience on the Greek island of Paros, where physical relaxation and enjoyment of the senses work side by side with artistic expression and learning.
Setting Description:
The island of Paros, one of the largest islands in the Cyclades archipelago, is situated midway between Athens and Crete. Upon first glance, it is easy to see why Paros has become an artist's delight: rolling hills, traditional fishing villages, ancient ruins and painted stone walkways, the island delights the senses at every turn. Classes with Artists on the Move are held outdoors in these breathtaking landscapes. During printmaking and other work sessions, students spend time in and around the studio that is located in a peaceful and private setting.
