Diesel – Heavy Truck

Arizona Automotive Institute’s Diesel – Heavy Truck program focuses on engaging students through hands-on training and flexible, convenient scheduling. Course training includes inspecting, diagnosing, servicing and repairing diesel-powered medium- and heavy-duty trucks and buses, as well as performing diagnostics and maintenance services on hydraulic equipment and truck and trailer refrigeration systems. You will have the opportunity to be qualified for an entry-level position in general diesel medium and heavy truck service positions and to be trained to work on both computerized and conventional systems. Once you complete the program, you should be prepared for the EPA 609 A/C Technician certification test and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training certification. Students must have a high school diploma or GED to enroll in this program.
