Program Description:

Our program enables you to immerse yourself in the culture, history and politics of Scotland through engaging academic courses and the opportunity to complete significant research under the direction of a member of the Scottish Parliament. A summer option is also available.

Through the University of Edinburgh's Scottish Parliamentary Program you can enjoy a unique opportunity to help make history by working with members of the Scottish Parliament who are sitting to enact their own laws for the first time since 1707. If you learn by doing and are a student of government, law, politics, history, economics or sociology, this program may be right for you.

Setting Description:
While the program is intensive, there will be time for a life beyond work but with an added plus. You will achieve a level of integration with your host country that is available to only a few while gaining valuable working experience. The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University, in conjunction with the University of Edinburgh, guarantees your housing in one of two types of Edinburgh housing: university residence halls or student flats. Travel to fascinating places of interest that enhance your cultural immersion and give a meaningful context to your academic courses.
