Program Description:

This unique program is available through Arcadia University's affiliation with the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), a highly respected Irish organization that focuses exclusively on civil and public sector development through part-time and distance education, training, and research. Although it offers bachelor's and master's degrees, the IPA is not a traditional college campus.

This program offers coursework and an exceptional opportunity to undertake research and support administrative activities under the direction Ireland: Dublin government of members of the Dail and Seanad, the respective lower and upper houses of the Irish Parliament. The internship affords students insight into contemporary Ireland in ways that is unobtainable in the classroom alone.

Setting Description:
IPA is located in an attractive, tree-lined suburb of Dublin within easy reach of the Parliament and city center. Students enrolled in the Dublin Parliamentary Internship are housed in fully furnished flats in Dublin or with Irish host families.
