Program Overview

Program Description:

Spend a semester or year in the vibrant city of Athens with AIFS and earn up to 15 credits through a variety of courses studying at DEREE, the American College of Greece (ACG). Live in a beautiful residence complex near campus and enjoy activities like guided city walks, Greek dancing and cooking classes, and day trips to Delphi, Greek Islands (for semester students only), and Nafplio and Palamidi Castle. AIFS also offers an optional 3-day excursion to Rome, and a day trip to Cape Sounion.

You’ll earn up to 15 credits through a variety of courses studying at DEREE, the American College of Greece (ACG). (Courses are taught in English.) In addition to a rich academic program, AIFS in Athens offers a non-credit on-campus internship program at ACG in areas such as marketing, communication, fundraising or student affairs.

Cost:
AIFS is a premier provider of study abroad programs. Program fees cover tuition and housing, with $800,000 in scholarship and grant funding available each year. A meal plan, tours and excursions, insurance and 24-hour emergency service are also included. Coordinated AIFS Flight Packages with major airlines are also available.

Requirements:
Open to college sophomores, juniors and seniors. Minimum 2.5 GPA required. Due to visa regulations, we recommend you apply early.
