Program Overview

Program Description:

"In the Footsteps of Paul the Apostle" focuses on this Pivotal figure in early Christianity, whose teachings and writings form one of the cornerstones of Western Civilization. The program consists of two three-credit undergraduate courses, supplemented by study trips to such Pauline sites as Philippi, Neapolis, the Lydia baptistry, Thessaloniki, and Veria, along with Athens and Corinth in the south.

Students will be based in the student centric city of Thessaloniki where a studio apartment in the center of the city allows for a truely immersive experience in modern Greece. Access will be given to the entire campus facilities including the impressive Bissell Library and the large array of clubs and organizations available for students to get involved with. At the crossroads of eastern and western civilizations with a diverse international student population, small class sizes, and an emphasis on the global community, ACT is the ideal place to learn more about the writings and life of Paul the Apostle.
