Program Description:

AIDE Abroad believes that international service learning develops intercultural competence, as well as tolerance and understanding of circumstances and societies that are different from our own. Our aim is to build a worldwide community of global citizens who will be part of an ongoing intercultural conversation. Welcome aboard, and we hope that you enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Acceptance to our volunteer abroad program may be dependent upon age and Spanish language ability. We do offer in-country Spanish courses for those who would like to improve their Spanish before starting their volunteer program.

While volunteering in Argentina, you can experience the famous Argentine barbeque, or asado, a festive, communal event enjoyed by the locals, and explore a country known for its unique European flair in the heart of South America. AIDE Abroad works with a variety of projects in Argentina, and we will work with you to place you in a project that will benefit both you and the local community.

Setting Description:

AIDE Abroad’s international volunteer program in Argentina provides participants the chance to contribute their skills as well as develop new knowledge and experience. Participants can work towards supporting an environmental cause, improving impoverished communities, or educating future generations. AIDE Abroad offers a variety of projects in both Buenos Aires and Córdoba, where you will have many opportunities to explore these picturesque cities and experience the rich culture of the Argentine people.
