Program Description:

The objective of the Bachelor of Science in Psychology program at Albizu University’s (AU) Miami Campus is to provide students with a foundation in a variety of mental health fields and help them develop the necessary skills for entry into an array of graduate degree programs. Our program integrates cognitive, emotional, and behavioral science theories with current trends in the field of psychology. This allows students to cultivate an appreciation for the value and dignity of all people, regardless of their backgrounds, origins, or life circumstances.

The BS in Psychology offers a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has verified the ABA courses offered at Albizu University toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) examination.  Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination.  Applicants who provide verification that they have completed this Verified Course Sequence (VCS) offered at Albizu University will not have to provide coursework documentation when applying for the examination.
