I only had a half day of scheduled work today, so, as I walked home at 2pm I followed a whim and wandered into the Kelvingrove Museum & Galleries.  The lovely thing about Scotland is that the museums are all free which provides the opportunity to go in, walk around for about a half hour, find an art pieve that moves me, and let that be that.  As I stared at nature scenes made of brushstrokes and vases painted with flowers,I remembered the graden which my mother loves so much back home.  I marveled at the beauty of the art, but I wished I could have seen the old furniture as my mother would have displayed it - wrapped in nature.  I guess you can take the girl out of Indiana, but I'll always think of Indiana as home. Thinking of you, Mom!
