space Two Special Lecture Courses in International Relations with Optional Tutorial Courses and a January Course

From May 16 to July 1 (six weeks) students may enroll in a lecture course for three to six credits taught by leading American and Oxford scholars in International Relations (including Ambassador Sir John Johnson, former Director of the Oxford Foreign Service Programme, Sir David Yardley, in International Law, Robert Schuettinger, former Oxford Visiting Fellow in International Relations and former White House foreign policy adviser, etc.)

Students may also choose a tutorial course in any academic subject.

From July 11 to August 26 (six weeks) students may enroll in a lecture course in International Relations for three to six credits taught by mainly the same scholars as above with the same option of a tutorial course as well.

In both cases, students will have single room housing, limited college facilities in the summer and a farewell special college dinner, several educational tours, etc.

There will be a week of travel time in the fourth week of courses so that students will be able to see more of Europe. Students could also travel before and after the dates of the course. Students may receive a transcript from an accredited US University (the Unversity of the Pacific). The academic supervisor, Dr. Michael Stoddard, is from San Diego State University but this is not a SDSU course. Dr. Stoddard was recently elected "best professor of the year" at SDSU. A similar "January" course is also offered from December 27th to January 21, 2007. Fees are $3,300.

Fees will be less than those for our normal 6-week programs: $5,600.
