An Appreciation of Spanish Culture: Myth, Tradition, and Contemporary Life (Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba)

Program Description: A fifteen-day, intensive course especially designed to develop and enrich students' knowledge and understanding of Spain, its language, and its cultural heritage. The course is based in Madrid with day trips to Segovia, Toledo, Salamanca, El Escorial, and Alcala de Henares. A major in Spanish is not required for participation. This is an innovative course in its emphasis on learning outside of the traditional classroom. Mandatory one-day orientation prior to departure.
