Boston University The Boston University Studio Arts program at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica offers course work in graphic design or painting in a city whose museums, plazas, and canals form a truly unique classroom: Venice. Overview The Graduate Diploma in Arts is awarded by the Host Institution -- the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica -- a working arts academy in central Venice. Students can major in Graphic Design (primary focus on ptintmaking, book arts, and digital media) or the Fine Arts (primary focus on painting and drawing).
Setting The Scuola Internazionale di Grafica is a private visual arts and graphic design academy in Venice, Italy, with an annual enrollment capped at 200 students (most of whom are Italian). The International Partnership for Service-Learning and leadership Based at Siena Italian Studies, the program is a "gentle full immersion" in Italian life for highly motivated beginners, intermediate, and advanced Italian language students. The program welcomes students from any nation and all courses will be taught in Italian.
Overview The program is a combination of Italian language, socio-anthropological training, and volunteer service that results in a once in a lifetime experience of social service. Each semester includes excursions designed to give you a varied and meaningful experience of Tuscany and other regions of Italy.
