State University of New York (SUNY) The State University of New York (SUNY) currently offers more than 400 overseas study programs in more than 50 countries: in North and South America, Africa, Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Programs range from 2-3 week intensive courses to a semester or academic year abroad. Courses are available in more than 100 subjects, ranging alphabetically from aboriginal studies and aerospace engineering to western philosophy and women's studies. While many programs focus on language learning and are conducted in the language of the host country, many others are conducted wholly or partly in English.
Overview The State University of New York overseas study programs are, with some exceptions, open to all SUNY and non-SUNY students, with eligibility ranging from first year to graduate level. For many undergraduates, the best time to study abroad has traditionally been during the junior year; however, well-prepared sophomores, and occasionally freshmen, are eligible for some programs. Program costs are usually only slightly higher than on-campus costs of tuition, room and board (exclusive of international air fare) and in some countries expenses are actually less than they would be on campus. Study abroad students pay SUNY tuition (in-state or out-of-state, depending upon New York State residency) plus costs, which vary from program to program. Matriculated students at a State University of New York campus register on their home campus for programs offered at any other campus. They are thus able to maintain residency and eligibility for financial aid. State University of New York College at Brockport(SUNY) Brockport's Griffith College Program offers participants the opportunity to enroll directly in courses and programs in the heart of Dublin. In addition to selecting a program of formal coursework, participants may elect to seek a placement in a full- or part-time internship at a wide range of businesses, organizations and agencies at locales within Dublin or in the surrounding suburbs of this, Ireland's thriving capital city.
Overview Two Tracks of Study are available. Students choosing the Coursework Track will enroll in fifteen credit hours of courses appropriate to their US-based study. Students choosing the Internship Track. will be placed in a twelve-credit internship that will offer them the important opportunity of gaining practical experience in their chosen field in an international arena, often with US companies based in Ireland.
Setting Dublin is one of Europe's most exciting capitals, with a high standard of living. State University of New York College at Brockport (SUNY) National University of Ireland, Maynooth traces its roots to the foundation of St. Patrick's College in 1795. In 1910, Maynooth became a recognized College of the National University of Ireland for the purpose of awarding degrees in Art, Science, Celtic Studies and Philosophy.
Overview Now established with full University status as the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, it introduces new degree and diploma programs in Computer Science, Software Engineering, European Social Policy, Local History, and combined History through French or German degrees. All participants will attend the sames classes, live in the same housing, and participate in the same social, cultural, athletic, and academic extracirricular activities as their Irish counterparts. All instruction is by NUI, Maynooth faculty.

Diseart- Institute of Education and Celtic Culture This course is designed as an interdisciplinary programme and offers participants an integrated approach to early, medieval and modern Irish language, literature, heritage and culture. The aim of the course is to offer an introduction to every aspect of Celtic Culture, language, literature and heritage from ealry Christian times up to the present day.
Overview Students will study four core modules- language, literature, heritage and culture, but will also pick two out of four electives from Spirituality, Folklore, Irish(Gaeilge) and Music. Students will not only learn the theory involved in these subjects but will also experience the wonder of a living celtic culture in the Dingle Peninsula.
