SIT Study Abroad Explore Tunisian culture and society through the eyes of the nation’s young people. Tunisia is defining its own place as a nation. It is seeking to embrace two continents and the Arab realm, while retaining an identity that is distinctly its own. This program provides students insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the youth.

Overview Intensive Language Study: Arabic; Youth and the Afro-Arab World Seminar: Tunisia in the Afro-Arab World, Youth Studies, Educational Excursions, Rural Visit; Field Study Seminar; Independent Study Project. (16 Credits)

Setting Six weeks in Tunis and one week in a rural village. Other accommodations during the program may include hostels or small hotels.
